PROJECT OVERVIEW
Goodreads is one of the most widely used platforms for tracking and reviewing books, but its design feels outdated and more functional than engaging. Readers use it to log their progress, yet the experience lacks the social energy and modern usability that could make it truly inspiring.
In this redesign, I set out to reimagine Goodreads as a social-first platform for book lovers; one that makes discovering books more personal, profiles more interactive, and reading challenges more motivating.
